My love and passion for photography began as a teenager spending endless hours in my father’s darkroom. Living throughout Africa for over a decade and in Bangkok for five years with my husband and two children, I feel fortunate to work in this field I love most, in an inspiring environment.

After years of formal photography study in Kiel, Germany, my career in photo journalism as well as television and film developed with esteemed organizations such as Spiegel TV, BBC, NZZ, Die Weltwoche, Der Spiegel, FAZ; FAZ Das Magazin, ARD and other media organisations, building my career, experience and a portfolio which I build up travelling around the world.

My work brought me to the coldest parts of Alaska following inuits in their daily life, and the deepest corner of the Cameroonian jungle covering ape hunters.
